Our Ministry Leaders

DEREK BOGGS

Senior Pastor

I’ve served ECC Princeton as senior pastor since August 2010, and I feel overwhelmingly blessed to be the pastor of this congregation. I’m passionate about spiritual formation, worship, and participating in God’s worldwide mission of redemption. I enjoy spending my free time with my wife Jessica, and our three children Levi, Eve, and Olive. My idea of a great day off involves some combination of bird-watching, history reading, movie watching, or visiting an ethnic restaurant!

ALEX TAYLOR

Pastor of Students and Outreach

I was born and raised in Aurora, Colorado right outside Denver. I grew up in a Christian home where I had many spiritually formative experiences. God has always been a part of my life, but I truly gave my life to following Christ as a student at the University of Northern Colorado. In 2020, I received my Master of Divinity from Denver Seminary. I now have the privilege and joy of working alongside many other leaders in the areas of Students and Outreach at ECC Princeton. I love music and the outdoors, and particularly like sharing them with my wife Stacey and two kids. I feel blessed to have the chance to enjoy the fun, profound, and formative moments that come with student ministry. I am also excited about how our church is reaching out to both our local and broader communities, spreading the good news of Jesus Christ through both word and action.

JESSICA BOGGS

Pastor of Faith Formation

I began serving ECC Princeton as Pastor of Faith Formation in September 2020 (after serving as Coordinator of Children’s Discipleship since 2017). I love that I get to walk with both the youngest of our Jesus-followers as well as adult disciples as they grow in their relationships with Jesus and with each other.  I also like serving in the areas of communication and social media.  Spending free time with my husband Derek and our three children, especially outdoors, makes me happy. If I have time to myself, I’m probably reading a mystery novel and drinking chai.

Leadership Council

God equips each person with gifts to serve and encourage the church. The members of the Leadership Council are chosen by the congregation to provide vision and guidance as we carry out God’s mission together. They work with the senior pastor to oversee the well-being of the whole church spiritually and practically.  Currently, the Leadership Council is comprised of five members: the church chair, vice chair, secretary, treasurer, and the senior pastor.
