Junior High Programs

Jr. High Youth Group: The Jr. High Youth Group meets on a the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month from 10:30-Noon in the Annex (the white house behind the church).  This is a high energy time of fun, fellowship, and faith development. We plan each week around a different theme; we focus on Discipleship, Worship/Prayer, Service, and Fellowship in a rotating schedule. We will occasionally also have events that don’t take place during our normal time. Some of our students’ favorite things to do are overnights, trampoline parks, trips to the pool, and service opportunities. Please consider joining us, it’s  so much fun!

Discipleship/Confirmation:  Discipleship/Confirmation is a 2- year course for 7th and 8th graders that seeks to immerse students in the whole story of scripture, both Old and New Testaments. This is a Christian rite of passage that helps students find their identities in Christ and the narrative of Scripture before they head into high school. The purpose of these classes is to lead Jr. high students on a journey of personal discipleship with Christ, to teach them the core doctrines of the Christian faith, and to help them experience the love of God in a personal way. New classes for 7th graders begin in September of each year and take place on Wednesday nights at the church, from 6:15-7:30 pm. For more information or to register for classes, please contact Linnea in the church office: linnea@eccprinceton.org or call 815-875-2124.

CovKids(Meets every Wednesday Night, from 6:15-7:30 pm, for all 5th and 6th graders) CovKids is a Wednesday night program that is an extension of our children’s ministry. CovKids is a bridge program that seeks to “bridge the gap” between the Children’s Ministry and Youth & Young Adult Ministry. Students in grades 5 and 6 who are not old enough for Confirmation, and yet, too old for the standard Children’s activities, are invited to come and enjoy this time of games, teaching, and fellowship specifically for them.
