BUREAU COUNTY MOPS

Our Mission

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is a grassroots movement that believes moms are world influencers. We also believe that incubating hearts and giving just-because-hugs can change the course of history. That’s why we connect moms all over the world to a community of women, in their own neighborhoods, who meet together to laugh, cry and embrace the journey of motherhood. MOPS groups are rallying women to be more honest, to feel more equipped and to find our identity and realize our potential as mothers, women and leaders in relationship with Jesus by journeying along side one another.

What is MOPS?

  • MOPS is for any mother with children ages birth through 18. Momming is hard, and we believe that no mom should be alone. So wherever you are in your motherhood journey, you are welcome!
  • We meet the first and third Tuesdays of the month, September-May. Due to COVID-19, we are meeting in-person with limited seating; registration information can be found on Facebook.

What can you expect with a MOPS meeting?

Here are the basic elements of every meeting:

A welcoming and open environment
Mentoring and leadership development opportunities
Time for creative activities and conversation among adults
Valuable take away teachings and lessons
And most importantly…knowing you are never alone in this journey
